Maps
Mapping for report figures, field survey, or general contract needs, Oakum Solutions provides custom maps with your company’s logo, preferred layout, and formats including jpeg, pdf, tiff, and geopdf. We have many map templates to choose from and understand that different entities have requirements that must be met.
Data Management
Having a professional help manage GIS data on large or small-scale projects is useful for high volumes of records. Oakum Solutions can ensure that data collected from any GPS or tablet is appropriately transcribed into databases and can work with field crews to ensure surveys are met with success.
Web Publishing
Publishing content online, in conjunction with ESRI, can enable both you and your clients to view real-time data collection from the field, enable field crews to record data with their personal phones or tablets, and help project managers better understand data without needing software or experience.
Drones
Drone imagery and videography can be easily incorporated into most projects when you want to impress your clients with crystal clear, up-to-date aerial imagery and 3D models of your project. Examples include annual remediation footage/maps, existing conditions mapping, imagery of newly impacted areas of interest, and video inspections of infrastructure. Our pilots are fully licensed through the FAA.
Technology consulting and training enabling your business to leverage tablets, Bluetooth GPS data collection, online GIS resources, and other emerging technologies to enhance and streamline your data collection, analysis, and delivery workflows.
Schema/data model deliverables required by large entities like state agencies, local governments, utilities, and federal contracts can be nuanced and cumbersome to work with. We can support your contracts by helping you understand data deliverables and packaging them for seamless delivery.
